With hundreds of different gift cards to choose from, how does one know which to choose? Well we’ve made your decision just a little easier for you.

GiftCardRescue.com has been surveying our customers for the past five years to answer this question for you. The results this year, reflected a few surprises, as well as, various reoccurring contenders. Based on a national sample of approximately 20,000 gift card wish lists, topping this year’s “Most Wanted” list for the third time is Wal-Mart. The number one spot is followed by Target and for the first time in the top three, McDonald’s.

In order to provide gift card shoppers more insight, this year’s list has been broken down into categories, including Restaurants, Clothing and Shoes, Electronics and Appliances, Sports and Outdoors and more.
