The Pass Card from American Express is a new prepaid open loop card that is designed for teens and young adults. The pass card is designed for young adults because the pass card acts exactly like a debit or credit card. However, you can only spend up to the balance remaining on the card. This way you will never be forced to pay overdraft fees.
When the balance on the card has been expended, the pass card is reloadable. As a parent you can put more funds on the card by logging into your account online or by calling American Express at 1-877-405-7277. According to a study published in 2009, over 67% of all Americans are enrolled in some sort of rewards program with their credit cards. It only makes sense that if you are going to be purchasing items on credit, then why not get a little bonus from the credit card company. We thought what our last contest winner sent us was so great that our next giveaway will be a photo contest. All you need to do is take a picture of your pet to win! There will be two winners who will each receive a $25 Target gift card.
To enter, all you need to do is fan Gift Card Rescue on Facebook and attach an image of your pet to our wall. On Monday, we will select the top five photo’s and post them on our Facebook page. Our fans will then vote for the top 2 photos through a poll that will be posted on the site. The top 2 winners of the poll will each get a $25 Target Gift Card

Recently on Facebook we gave away a $25 Brinker International gift card to one lucky fan. In order to enter this contest, all you needed to do was list your top five favorite gift cards on our Facebook Fan page. We took all of the names of those who commented and put them in random order on two sheets of paper. You can see all of the names in our photo album here. We then posted the paper on a board and our CEO, Kwame Kuadey threw a dart to pick a lucky winner. This way of picking a winner has really gotten a lot of people excited about how we chose the winner and how fun it was to be a part of.
With all the positive feedback we got on our facebook and twitter pages about how close people were to winning and how much they’re looking forward to the next one, we’ve decided to launch another contest to be announced soon. Sign up for an account here and select to sell us a card. You will receive a quote based on the value of the cards. You then ship the cards to us.
